The New York Times: Awkward Race Questions

One of my favorite projects at the New York Times was creating a series of very short looping videos to answer question very personal questions on race. In making visuals for the project, I went intentionally low-fi and analog, trying to make each metaphorical loop out of supplies in the space around me (I discuss more about my process in this talk).

For more about the project, and to see work from others in my cohort at the Times, see the full article.

(This was all part of my 10-week, Macarthur-funded, project at the New York Times and POV).
